Er war ein Genie.
Just checking how good Matt Gourley's impression is.
Hello Thank you for your art, your work will go further than you think.
Legend
Gran Maestro.
Giger puts DaVinci to shame
I watched this show called "Somebody feed Phil" (he's hilarious) and he went to this very shop. I was so impressed I decided to order some. MY WORD, never in my life have I eaten such flavor and texture from a bagel, it was amazing! I ordered through Golden Belly and they were fast and my bagels arrived fresh. They are crazy delicious!
simple answers to AMAZING creations !
the Legend lives on the Silver screen !!
A Genius Master!
Remembering Hans Ruedi "H.R." Giger born on February 5, 1940. He was a Swiss artist best known for his airbrushed images that blended human physiques with machines, an art style known as "bio-mechanical". Giger later abandoned airbrush for pastels, markers and ink. He was part of the special effects team that won an Academy Award for the visual design of Ridley Scott's 1979 sci-fi horror film Alien. His work is on permanent display at the H.R. Giger Museum in Gruyères, Switzerland. His style has been adapted to many forms of media, including album covers, furniture, and tattoos. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H._R._Giger

MASTER OF MASTERS
His art is disgusting and total misusage of artistic vision. He decided to make hideous things just to make them and not share a vision greater than just a gimmick he repeated there was no evolution in his work but a dedication to bad and ugly. He could have created dark things but instead with meaning to it. There is little meaning to this organic mess in poor taste. Savage, barbaric "art" of such groups had the same or similar dimensions.
Are you a real person?
Been there, i was in nirvana.

God fuckin bless hr giger. I'll continue getting tattoos of his artworks on my flesh.
I love his accent
Remember going to this museum when I was 7 (thanks dad). Didn't get frightened or anything. Now I'm a fan. Miss you Giger, I wish I could've talked to you at least one time.
Damn!! he should have played a part in the movie.
I love how he doesn't try to give some elaborate pseudo explanation of his work.
I wish the Giger museum would do an exhibition in London. I went to the Giger museum this summer 2020. Amazing place

I dont think you realized that Aliens is a very bitter and maybe painful memory for Giger since he was never consulted when they defaced his babies.
he had very special stuff like some jesus painting on the cross and alot weird things. very innovative but also not scared to push the boundaries and even shock some people. alot was inspired by death and evil and the good or bad when we see many of what he has done.
Before this video, I didn't really know what his voice sounded like: I was surprised that he sounded exactly like I thought he would.
Who’s here because of matt gourley?
I remember the very day in 1979 when I was a kid. Bored in an airport, our flight was delayed from Luton to Spain ( this was my first trip on a plane, so I was very excited). Then an announcement said our flight was delayed so to console me my father went and bought me a magazine. It was Omni, he bought it because he thought it had 'something to to with Star Wars' on the cover (I wasn't interested in Star Wars). So, utterly bored flicking through this magazine that really wasn't for kids... cigarette adverts and such, BOOM there was an image by Giger, a page from Necronomicon... I remember the thrill I got, literally a shiver, aroused, fascinated, and disturbed all at the same time... this was the day my imagination was struck by a bolt of lightning! Thank you 'Laker Airlines' and thank you H.R.Giger. 🏆🚀
Sweetest man with the most disturbing visions.
El gran giger era el el José Clemente Orozco del terror y las pesadillas
Geiger had nothing to do with Alien. Steve Bannon wrote the book and screenplay and Ridley Scot directed the movie. It was Ridley Scot that discovered Geiger through his work Necronomicon, Geiger only slightly modified one of his creatures for the film.
Geiger had everything to do with the Alien, he designed it. Dan O’Bannon, not Steve O’Bannon discovered Geiger’s work and presented it to Ridley Scott. Geiger then made modifications of the creature and what we had was a beautiful but terrifying monster for the film.
@@Greggorious123 That's right, Giger's Alien was one of the many nightmares on paper that the artist painted with the airbrush back in 1975. The success of the movie also had unpleasant consequences in Giger's artistic life : Giger subsequently suffered from the idea of the people that he was only the father of the xenomorph and not an artist, when his works have always been based on the masters of surrealism such as Dalì.

Thanks for this, although the host is pretty square
satan would have killed himself while staying 3 days in Gigers flat in Zurich
the guy was hillarious, he designed the most shocking satanistic stuff and was was so funny privately. really great.
the flat even had black ligthswitches and surface cables.
His Flat in Zuroch was the most depressive place on earth, even the Gobi Desert would be funnier
Disneyland in Reverse :--))))))))
Durango co pictures
I just spent a couple months in Colorado. My friends and family got sick of me raving about how goddamn beautiful it is. Were it not for the cold winters and high cost of living, I would move there. In fact, I still haven't ruled out living there eventually.
Sad that the dead pilot in the seat from the movie Giger made for the movie was destroyed by kids, I wish he took the time to remake it for history.
